Salaam! We will be collecting Zakat al-Fitr during the blessed month of Ramadan. According to the Sunnah, Zakat al-Fitr is compulsory for every person, young and old. The amount suggested is $10 for each family member. You may pay your zakat al-fitr throughout Ramadan but it is recommended to pay it earlier rather than later. This will ensure it gets distributed prior to Eid prayer.

Inshallah, we will be distributing the collected Zakat al-Fitr in a humbling manner, serving the neediest in our community a meal with dignity and we need your help. We are scheduled to distribute 75 meals for our unsheltered sisters and brothers at the University Baptist Church (map) on Thursday, May 6th.
