Salaam! We will be collecting Zakat al-Fitr during the blessed month of Ramadan. According to the Sunnah, Zakat al-Fitr is compulsory for every person, young and old. The amount suggested is $12 for each family member. You may pay your zakat al-fitr throughout Ramadan but it is recommended to pay it earlier rather than later. This will ensure it gets distributed prior to Eid prayer.

Inshallah, we will be distributing the collected Zakat al-Fitr by stocking local high school food pantries.
Food Distribution: We will be shopping and packing grocery bags for students in need to be delivered to both Eastside and Northeast High Schools. Shopping, packing, and delivering on Monday, April 8th and Tuesday, April 9th. Due to the anticipated solar eclipse traffic we are only needing 2-3 volunteers to transport the grocery bags to the school on Tuesday, April 9th.
